The Partner Account Manager in an integral member of the K2 sales team with a focus on driving revenue through channel partners.  The Partner Account Manager will work closely with our partner’s sales, marketing, technical and executive teams to manage the relationship at a strategic level.  The Partner Account Manager will also work with Inside Sales, Marketing and Account Executives to develop mutually successful go-to-market activities and revenue growth.  This is a quota bearing role. 


  • Work with channel partners to define joint sales and marketing campaigns
  • Interfacing with channel partners on general and specific issues and involving other experts and/or management where necessary
  • Seek and onboard new channel partners based on geographic or sales coverage needs
  • Communicate channel partner needs to K2
  • Coordinate with technical resources as necessary to support partner training and selling activities
  • Participate in channel partner marketing activities and events as needed
  • Manage channel partners to mutually agreed business plan
  • Increase managed channel partner footprint with a quality versus quantity focus
  • Increase channel partner coverage outside of the Microsoft footprint (SAP, Oracle, Google, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information in
  • Accurately forecast revenue
  • Be a strong team member and enjoy winning in a team environment


  • 5 years’ relevant software sales/technical experience, preferably in a Partner sales environment
  • Documented ability to exceed quota and key performance metrics
  • Strong technical experience
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Business process/workflow analysis and/or training experience a plus
  • Strong in-person and written customer communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional audiences with command of K2 technology
  • Must be willing to travel frequently within region
