K2 to Sponsor and Speak at the Return of SharePoint Conference North America
BELLEVUE, Wash. – May 17, 2018 – K2 today announced that it will be a Gold sponsor at SharePoint Conference North America in Las Vegas from May 21-23, 2018. The company will also host a session during the conference on Monday, May 21 entitled “Empowering the Citizen Developer: How to Scale Digital Transformation Across Your Office 365 Deployment.”
Equipping non-technical resources, or citizen developers, with the right skills, tools and knowledge to become a critical component of empowering existing resources allows organizations to rapidly expand their ability to be agile and develop solutions. Citizen developers sit at the core of a strategy that allows enterprises to maximize the benefits of their technology investments including Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM and more.
“In traditional IT models, it’s not uncommon to have a small, IT-centric development team that becomes the gatekeeper to implementing technology solutions,” said Eric Boserup, vice president, Americas, K2. “This methodology works well for quality control, however the speed at which this group can move often does not meet the volume of requests from various departments that truly need to implement efficient solutions to business problems. For businesses to transform and realize the benefits of automation, they have to approach the problem with a different solution.”
K2 will be joined at the conference by representatives from a leading U.S. mobile telecommunications company; who will share their experiences developing, implementing and supporting a wide variety of business processes for tens of thousands of employees utilizing K2 along SharePoint Online, with the goal to automate as many processes as possible.
Company representatives will be on-site throughout the conference exhibiting K2’s leading low-code process automation platform in booth #201. Attendees are encouraged to stop by to learn about how K2 can enrich automation and customization across the Microsoft stack, how to get process-driven insights from Power BI, and to get hands-on with the K2 Workflow Designer.
K2 will also be giving away t-shirts and one lucky booth visitor will win a Nintendo Switch. Registration for the event is still open.
