BELLEVUE, Wash. April 10, 2017 – K2 announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has given the K2 Ascend Partner Program a 5-Star rating in its 2017 Partner Program Guide. This annual guide is the definitive listing of partner programs from technology vendors that provide products and services through the IT channel. The 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs.
In January, K2 announced the launch of its global partner program, K2 Ascend Partner Program, to solidify itself as a channel-focused and channel-friendly company. The program is geared to bolstering partner bottom lines and helping customers rapidly foster digital transformation within their businesses through low-code application development.
The new program, which went live on Jan. 1, is built on three essential pillars:
- Profitability: Opportunity registration designed to protect partners and provide incentives as fuel for future growth.
- Enablement: Tools to help partners build skills and promote offerings to achieve the highest level of customer success.
- Transparency: Proactive and preemptive communication to create simple transactions, clear requirements and specific measurements.

From the time the new program was launched to now, 100 global partners have renewed their partnership with K2, while an additional 15 new partners have on-boarded with the K2 Ascend Partner Program in the first quarter alone.
