Integrated across CRM, ERP and operational systems, K2 solution improves efficiency and data quality

Distribution and logistics company IFCO SYSTEMS used K2 blackpearl to build a unified system that manages customer and vendor information, as well as providing audit controls for account creation.

The solution — the account-management module of the company’s larger operations and order management system called IFCOLogix — replaces a set of manual processes that were antiquated and time consuming. It integrates line-of-business systems and provides a single entry point for data and information management, boosting efficiency, reducing the possibility for errors and eliminating redundant tasks.

“Basically, we had three different systems that held customer and vendor data, and we needed a way to reconcile all of that data, streamline our entry processes, provide visibility, and enforce approval and audit controls,” said Chuck Koch, director of Information Technology at IFCO.
