K2 connect 4.6.5 for SAP now available
Last Updated Friday, September 16, 2016
“Easy” is a word that’s not often associated with your SAP systems and data. Self-service interfaces are difficult to work with, and the underlying data in your SAP systems is tough to integrate with other sources of data and line-of-business applications. The good news is that getting more out of your SAP environment just got easier with the latest release of K2 connect.
K2 connect for SAP makes it easy to build business applications that make use of enterprise data stored in SAP. Use K2's visual tools to create reusable K2 SmartObjects — defined data entities that allow you to surface SAP information within your applications in just a few clicks. In this release, K2 connect 4.6.5, we’ve added support for Visual Studio 2012, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8, so you can now work with the tools and technologies that your environment supports. We’ve also made it easier for you to create data entities based on SAP BAPIs by allowing for optional parameters within data property definitions.
One of the most exciting updates to K2 connect is better handling for complex data types such as structures. With this release we’ve made it even easier to create and define serialization objects, without the need to manually import and export XML file types. This update means that building your K2 business applications that integrate with SAP data and your other LOB sources (Salesforce.com, Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, SQL, and more) is now faster and easier.
