Video game maker Square Enix uses K2 business applications to stay flexible and keep projects on track. With studios all over the world, the company was dealing with complicated approval processes that resulted in lost information, lack of auditability, time inefficiencies and an increased burden on IT. The company needed a flexible solution that would give its team the ability to quickly implement processes, such as the mastering request process, which is the highly confidential production stage of video game development.
“[K2] gives us the ability to direct the approval to the right person, audit it, work out where the workflow is and the mastering will only go to the right person only once its been approved by the right producer,” said Etienne Lambert, global IT development manager.
Benefits: Using K2, Square Enix can tie workflows together with backend systems, see process status at any time, and respond quickly and effectively when issues arise.
