Since 1832, Sparebanken Vest has been providing financial services to private and corporate customers. It has 54 branches in western Norway and employs 800 people. The bank conducted a competitive evaluation of several process automation solutions and selected K2 for two reasons. First, K2 came with good references from other Norwegian organisations that already used the application software highly effectively; and second, K2 integrated well with Microsoft solutions.
To date, more than 50 K2-based processes have been developed covering everything from mortgage and credit card applications to change of address requests.
