Nando’s finance department handles 4,000 to 6,000 invoices every month in the UK. Before they could be paid, all these invoices had to be allocated to specific cost centres and authorised by different people within the business, including individual restaurant managers based at locations across the country. This process, along with the company’s expense process, was in need of automation. Nando’s used K2 to develop 12 separate applications, which predominantly support the company’s invoice and expense management processes. Today, the automated processes save a great deal of time in the finance department, and there are fewer human errors.

Benefits: “We used to wait three to four weeks for expense claims to be settled,” Applications Manager Juan Louw said.. “Now we receive payments weekly."
