You will bring a passion for crafting beautiful and easy to use experiences in complex web applications and an intense appetite for everything UI & UX and have a great portfolio available for review.

On a typical day you might…

  • Create visual designs based on knowledge of the 'K2 product brand', and translate that knowledge into a combination of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements and icons
  • Contribute to design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Create detailed visual design specifications
  • Solve a complex interaction design problem
  • Create a high level wireframe of an important flow
  • Attend a feature team standup and talk with a developer about implementation details, and design intent.
  • Attend a team meeting to share designs and idea
  • Try out a new interactive prototyping tool
  • Brainstorm with a Product Manager on a concept
  • Watch a YouTube video about how voice is the new mouse.


  • Create iterative concepts and final designs including screen layouts, color palettes, typography and icons to fit the product/brand identity.
  • Contribute in defining a brand/look and feel for a new suite of products and applications spanning mobile, desktop and everything in between.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate product function.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity to complex technical product features.
  • Contribute to design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Develop detailed interaction and visual design specifications and work closely with the development teams to implement them.
  • Design the next generation of our no-code App builder platform.
  • Work with developers, designers, product management, and our customers to create great user experiences in complex web applications.
  • Create low and high fidelity task flow mockups and prototypes while integrating feedback from internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Partner with product marketing's research on gathering user feedback and telemetry.

What you’ll bring to the table:
  • A strong portfolio with demonstrable UI design skills.
  • Unmistakable passion for elegant and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience of Graphic Design in the context of applications (rather than web sites).
  • Expert in Visual Design and Wireframing Tools.
  • Desktop and mobile application design experience required.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards and user flows.
  • User-centered approach with excellent visual design skills.
  • Confidently pitch and review your designs to various internal stakeholders.
  • Extremely detail orientated. Strives for pixel perfect implementation.
Additional qualifications:
  • Desired Experience:
  • Certification, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, HCI, or other related field.
  • Strong visual design skills and a solid understanding of current visual trends.
  • 2+ years of professional experience designing great User Interfaces and Experiences for web applications and websites.
  • Internalized a rigorous design process and are able to tailor it to the needs of different types of projects.
  • Strong interaction design skills and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles/standards and design patterns.
  • Strong conceptual skills and demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and design to communicate ideas to others.
  • Must love diving into complex user interface problems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize and manage work to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of web application design and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript (for prototyping).
  • A solid understanding of what it takes to create responsive web applications.
  • Experience working closely with development teams on implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills working in a multi-disciplinary, multi-time zone, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with cross-browser design and development.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment (SCRUM/KANBAN).
  • Experience designing mobile applications.
