Technical Specialist

In this role, you will generate interest in and excitement around the K2 platform and the innovative, value-driven solutions it provides. You will focus on new opportunities, enabling channel partners and evangelism in K2 and Microsoft communities. Capitalizing on your broad experience and industry insight you will relish demonstration all that is possible with K2 by delivering solution demonstrations, proof of concepts (POC’s), technical presentations and engaging with users at all levels of our client organisations.

What you’ll be doing as a member of our team:

  • Partner with the Business Development Managers for your region to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and relate how K2 can solve their problems
  • Deliver use case centric solution demonstrations to business and technical audiences
  • Develop Proof-of-concept (POC) applications to demonstrate K2’s value and capabilities to potential and existing customers
  • Present K2 products and solutions at partner events, trade shows and conferences
  • Maintain leading-edge knowledge of Microsoft platform and associated products and technologies
  • Create and share technical expertise/assets with the broader K2 technical community
  • Support K2 product development and marketing teams by sharing customer and market insights


What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with SharePoint development, developing with the .Net framework, SQL Server, Windows Server, use of virtualisation software, MS office suite
  • Experience in Architecting/Developing N-Tier solutions, / MVC, REST / Swagger API Framework, MS Flow / MS Power Apps / Azure API Apps / MS Power BI, Salesforce (using / developing)
  • A great communicator with excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • A desire to travel
  • Relishes working with the leading-edge technologies and applying those to drive business value
  • Committed to customer satisfaction – both internal and external customers
  • Able to work independently and thrive in a virtual team environment
  • Has excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects

Additional qualifications:

  • Pre-sales engineering background
  • Understanding of business process management
  • Proven experience in consulting or software industries
  • K2 experience
