At K2, Web Development Engineering is an engineering discipline that combines the fundamentals of software engineering, with the bleeding edge frontier of the Web 2.0.


We are looking for a talented, self-directed Web Development Engineer to be responsible in building the user experiences of our innovative Designers. The Web Development Engineer will become a key member of this development team as we pioneer solutions that empower our customers.  We have an ambitious mission to enable our customers to automate every process. The Web Development Engineer has a critical role in this endeavor.

What you’ll be doing as a member of our team:

  • Create well designed, testable, efficient code 
  • Develop HTML/TypeScript/CSS using Angular
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Assist in peer code reviews
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent


What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 1+ years of professional experience using Angular
  • Established proficiency in front end, web, or mobile software development utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of jQuery, JSON, and XML
  • Contributed in the shipment at least one SPA
  • Understanding of OOP demonstrated in a managed runtime such as C# or Java
  • Experience working in an agile development process
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire

Additional qualifications:

  • Experience building large-scale web applications
  • Working knowledge of go.js
  • Experience with AngularJS
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL
  • MS SQL Server or related database system experience
  • Experience in source control technologies including TFS and Git
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
