Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager

Duties

K2 is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our team to define and lead technical marketing efforts in support of our software offerings. This role involves the development and delivery of technical marketing assets, including technical blogs, demos, how-to materials, presentations etc., and will work in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Product Management. Reporting into the Product Marketing team, the ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, highly-motivated marketer with a passion for technology and excellent written and oral communication skills. What you’ll be doing as a member of our team:
  • Develop product presentations, guides, technical briefs, demo scripts and other tools to enable sales teams to sell K2 effectively to our key target markets and technical audiences.
  • Work cross-functionality with members of the Product Marketing, Marketing and Sales teams to define and outline thought leadership, blog and deep-dive content in support of marketing initiatives.
  • Train technical field teams on how to run demos and utilize technical marketing assets to effectively sell K2 products.
  • Participate in cross-functional go-to-market planning and execution of activities for all K2 product releases and launches.
  • Research and develop competitive intelligence materials in key usage areas and markets.
  • Attend trade shows and other events to represent K2 and showcase the technology.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify and track key metrics related to go-to-market activities and content effectiveness.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in high tech or enterprise software in Product Marketing or Product Management.
  • Motivated and excited by technology.
  • Ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology to different types of audience.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality, compelling technical marketing content such as blogs, demos and presentations.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Ability to lead a technically-focused announcement or launch.
