Sales Development Manager

K2 ( is a software company, headquartered in Bellevue, WA and with offices around the world.  Due to continued growth, K2 is looking for a seasoned Sales Development Manager to join our team. The position is based out of our Headquarter office in Bellevue, WA. 

We’re looking for someone who loves to win and who possesses strong business and communication skills. The Sales Development Manager will report to the Director of Inside Sales and play a key role in building, motivating and managing the day-to-day operations of the Account Development and Sales Development teams, focused on pipeline generation for K2’s North America sales team. This person’s responsibilities will include goal setting, planning, forecasting and achieving team quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

What you’ll be doing as a member of our team:
  • Manage the Account Development Team (4), focused on inbound lead conversion, and Sales Development Team (4) focused on outbound lead conversion as part of K2’s North America inside sales organization.
  • Help define the go-to-market strategies, in coordination with K2’s global marketing organization, providing leadership in the development of strategic and tactical plans by sales region to drive toward pipeline and quota attainment.
  • Establish and manage to team metrics based around activity, appointments set, and number of qualified opportunities created.
  • Oversee day to day activities of reps to make sure they’re on track to meet/exceed daily/weekly targets.
  • Report weekly results to Director of Inside Sales on team progress relative to plan.
  • Conduct regular 1:1’s and team meetings.
  • Develop and communicate action plans for individual rep performance based on assessment of strengths and growth areas.
  • Exceed customer and internal expectations by providing daily communication and creative solutions to problems and bringing a can-do attitude.
  • Represent K2 sales management in key deals when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of our organization through consistently achieving pipeline generation goals and growing market share.


What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an inside or field sales representative and 1-2 years in sales management.
  • Track record of successfully generating business with new customers.
  • Effective coaching style of management.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Experience with and or Salesloft strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to pass a Social Security Administration E-Verify check for U.S. work authorization.
