Marketing Operations Manager

The K2 Marketing Operations Manager will focus primarily on optimizing our operational processes and marketing system integrations, managing the execution and measurement of lead scoring, effective and ongoing database administration and cleansing, and reporting from Oracle Eloqua.  The ability to manage multiple advanced marketing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management is critical.

What you’ll be doing as a member of our team:

  • Act as Oracle Eloqua subject matter expert and overall marketing operations best practice leader
  • Use and leverage Oracle Eloqua to build and execute marketing campaigns and programs--activities include, but not limited to, campaign flow builds, email creation, outbound landing page creation, form creation, lead scoring, complex program builds, etc. Monitor and make improvements to long-running programs and campaigns
  • Proficient on SFDC and can provide best practice recommendations in terms of sales/marketing alignment and integration with Oracle Eloqua
  • Document all automated or manual processes related to data clean up, lead scoring, or other ongoing programs
  • Be the go-to person for the marketing team when questions or needs arise around Oracle Eloqua, SFDC, integrations, lead scoring, campaign building, best practices, etc.
  • Expert ability to troubleshoot, track down system anomalies, and analyze day to day data and lead flow processes associated with Oracle Eloqua and SFDC
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of lead scoring, nurture processes and recommend and implement necessary changes to increase conversions
  • Serve as a main QA testing resource for the corporate marketing team including Oracle Eloqua campaigns and related assets, social posts, website pages and forms, etc.
  • Build out email campaigns in Oracle Eloqua when needed, keeping in mind quality analysis and testing of campaigns and emails prior to launch
  • Constantly look for opportunities to create templates, workflows or how-to process documents for the marketing team to follow or use to decrease errors and omissions and keep the database cleaner
  • Keep our database clean with an emphasis on data integrity and best practices. Build effective list database segmentation and cleansing strategies, and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting


What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 5-7 years total of experience with Oracle Eloqua with at least 3-4 years in an advanced/admin capacity (Program Builder, Program Canvas, Lead Scoring, Customer Lifecycle, SFDC Integration, External Calls and Internal Events, Auto Synchs, Page Tagging, etc.)
  • Experience integrating Oracle Eloqua with other technologies like SFDC, webinar platforms, Vidyard, etc.
  • Technical competency of SFDC, admin level skills a plus
  • Experience with reporting and using data analysis to make effective decisions
  • Four-year university degree, marketing emphasis preferred 
  • Oracle Eloqua B2B Master Accreditation or Oracle Eloqua B2B Luminary Accreditation preferred
  • HTML proficiency a plus
