Global Channel Operations Specialist

K2 is looking for an experienced and energetic Global Channel Operations Specialist to join as a key member of the Global Channel division.  The genesis of this role is to streamline and improve how K2 partners are centrally supported and to remove operations barriers that hinder partner performance today. This person will be communicating frequently with partners, distributors and employees across the globe; being mindful of time zones, response timeframes and general urgency related to certain requests will be expected.  This role will be essential to our strategic initiative to re-engage with our channel partners worldwide and involve the contribution to and execution on new processes and strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Channel Operations Manager, key responsibilities of this role will include:

Operations

  • Managing the day-to-operational functions that support the partner lifecycle such as new partner onboarding, renewals, terminations, partner program inbox
  • Measuring engagement through product training, enablement activities, opportunity registration, marketing campaigns, business plan execution as well as KPIs
  • Coordinating the delivery of sales and presales enablement training to K2 channel teams, various partners and distributors
  • Tracking metrics and periodic reviews of the engagement model and reporting on individual channel engagement scores and other metrics
  • Supporting channel and internal K2 resources in the lifecycle management process
  • Frequent interaction with and coordination between Channel, Channel Business Development, Marketing and IT

Processes and Systems

  • Executing on our global channel engagement model and methodology
  • Working closely with the Global Channel Operations Manager to optimize, document and implement a channel lifecycle management process with clear roles and accountability
  • Collaborating with our Sales team and associated organizations to define tools, templates and content which will enable the global sales force and channel to have consistent, effective and engaging conversations with prospective and established channel organizations
  • Leading internal projects to improve processes and systems supporting the partner lifecycle
  • Providing process documentation support
  • Data quality management
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of channel operations and/or sales operations experience,ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external working partners is required
  • Very strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong in-person, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
