Content Marketing Manager

K2 is seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager, capable of translating complex technology and business topics into high-quality marketing content that’s relevant and engaging for our target audience. Key responsibilities include formulating our editorial calendar and delivering assets used to power a wide range of initiatives including demand generation, nurture, brand awareness and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategy, copywriting, editing, SEO specialization and coaching capabilities to the table. They will also be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to drive content marketing decisions.

What you’ll be doing as a member of our team:
  • Plan and execute a content strategy that drives high engagement on all channels.
  • Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to assist in the development of new marketing content such as long form power pages, videos, case studies, slide decks, whitepapers, infographics, e-books and more.
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
  • Devise new strategies and experiments for content types.
  • Collect, monitor and analyze content engagement metrics, and make improvements accordingly.
  • Manage projects leveraging 3rd party resources including copy writers, graphic designers, and industry experts/analysts.
  • Optimize content for search engines and lead generation purposes. Stay on top of latest SEO and content strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned


What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of content and communications experience.
  • Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated success drafting communications for various platforms, formats and purposes while capturing a consistent voice and driving engagement.
  • Strong bias for action: ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proven success of leveraging in-house subject matter experts as well as creating assets directly.
  • Experience with B2B and/or technology communications and content development preferred.
  •  Intermediate understanding of SEO strategy and experience building content that supports these efforts, ideally in the B2B space is preferred.
