For all the people that made it to Chicago last week for the Microsoft Ignite conference, congrats on braving 20,000+ people, 300+ vendors and hundreds of sessions. It was quite a show!
K2 participated as a Platinum Level Sponsor and had numerous sessions throughout the week. We launched and showed off the new booth and branding for Appit. If you didn't make it to the show or didn't make it by the booth for a demo let us know.
K2 had several presentations, including a 75-minute deep dive into what you can build as an innovator, and a 20-minute quick overview for how to build an app on the fly using the BYOA modality. Some highlights included the ability to connect with Box, Dropbox, Salesforce and other third-party applications, like K2 Partners DocuSign and Adlib. We also hosted daily Hands-on Labs, where Ignite attendees could get their hands on Appit and build their own forms and workflow solutions.
We were also elated to have four customers and four partners presenting in the booth throughout our stay. We would like to extend a big thank you to our customers and partners for sharing their success stories, and look forward to sharing them beyond the attendee list soon!
- Ron Borden, MOEITS
- Brandon Lucas, Southern Star Central Gas (who won a Metalogix Best-of-Breed award for best SharePoint LOB apps!)
- Lloyd Anselmo, Clif Bar
- Jessica Wesener, Kimberly Clark
And a huge thanks to our presenting partners from Concurrency, Discover Technologies, Statera and Adlib.
K2 also hosted and was actively involved in several parties, including our own Spark! event, the Metalogix Best-of-Breed awards and a SharePint event on the last night. We spent some time with several customers and partners as well, getting their story on video during the event. If you have a K2 success story we want to hear about it. To get the spark going submit this short form and tell us your story.

We look forward to being back in Chicago next year for Ignite 2016 – until then, if you didn't get a chance to see a demo of Appit or blackpearl at Ignite, let us know and we’d love to chat with you!
