DevWeek 2014 Recap
Wednesday, April 16, 2014
Last week, K2 was pleased to be a part of DevWeek 2014 in London. For those who are unfamiliar, DevWeek is the UK’s leading conference for Software Developers, DBAs and IT Architects. Now in its 17th successful year, DevWeek provides a unique opportunity to keep skills up to date with the latest technologies, best practices and frameworks from 49 industry leading experts, including K2.
We spent our time there meeting with amazing people and talking about what K2 can offer from a technical standpoint. Here are a few highlights (and a few thanks) from our time as a gold sponsor.
Thanks to Simon Allport and Adam Castle for all their hard work running our biggest demos: the K2 Robot Wars and K2 Tetris Competitions. We had quite a crowd show up for each of our demos, not only for the chance to win a trip up in the London Eye (where K2 took 20 winners for a spectacular view!), but also to see the battle between K2D2 and K3PO.
Adam also presented our lunchtime breakout session, which was technically focused. We received some great feedback afterwards from attendees, and were excited to share more about the development process involved in using K2.
Tell us some of your highlights from DevWeek 2014, and we hope to see you again next year!
