What do brokers, space pioneers and industrial suppliers have in common?

See how these companies have used K2 to change the way they do business, no matter what their field. Now they’re ready to accept new challenges. Are you?

Bualuang Securities
A top broker trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Bualuang Securities looked to K2 to solve its BPM problem, and it started by automating a single process. With little coding required, the new automated solution was built and launched — fast.

Building on this success, Bualuang Securities is now moving forward with several additional K2 business applications. And it has identified 10 additional workflows for migration to the K2 platform.

“With K2, we can now create new workflows and connect internal applications with front-end, customer-facing systems,” said Kalayanee Leksomboon, head of IT at Bualuang Securities.

Astrium Services
Astrium Services, a leading provider of satellite communications services, turned to K2 and IT partner Indocs to develop fully automated business applications to increase the efficiency of its core business processes. This included using Microsoft InfoPath forms embedded in the company’s Microsoft SharePoint system, as well as integrating with Microsoft Outlook.

Astrium Services can now reduce human errors, have clear visibility into its processes and keep its customers informed. It now plans to use K2 business applications and K2 smartforms to automate as many processes as possible.

“Our goal is to automate as much as possible and create more structured processes to further improve the efficiency of our business,” said Ben Jalilzadeh, project manager for IT development at Astrium Services.

JKM Industrial Supplies
JKM Industrial Supplies, a family-owned and -run business, turned to K2 and IT solutions provider Synergy Group to automate its inventory processes to create faster turnaround.

K2 business applications check stock requirements of sales orders (captured in the Accpac Order Entry module) against Sage ERP Accpac Inventory Control, and online purchasing capabilities were also implemented. The two K2 workflow applications feed off each other — creating a seamless, automated process that keeps clients happy and stock under control.

“K2 has changed the way we do business,” said Mike Gorrie, director of JKM Industrial Supplies.
