Case Study
City of Charlotte calls on K2 for exponential efficiency

When the City of Charlotte needed a new automated helpdesk system, it called on K2 blackpearl. But the city had bigger plans for the software.

“We have K2 because we need to answer a lot of needs — not just to build one workflow,” said Dennis Drury, City of Charlotte business process consultant. “We will never run out of processes to automate; and with each K2 workflow we build, the organization becomes more efficient. Essentially, we’ll just keep streamlining our operations further and further.”

Insider Profile Todd Braly
I spend my days working with K2 blackpearl, Microsoft .NET, and other assorted technologies to provide application development services for Stonebridge customers. So by day, I am a mild-mannered IT consultant. At night, I have various hobbies and interests, including hanging out with my wife and kids, electronics, home brewing, woodworking, and college football. If you want to know about K2, Microsoft technologies and how Stonebridge can help integrate these technologies into your organization, e-mail todd.braly@sbti.com or start a dialog with us via http://www.sbti.com. Right now, i’m listening to “Inside” by The Funky Lowlives on Groove Salad (Internet radio). How long have you been using K2, and how have you been using it? I’ve been working with K2 since the blackpearl beta in 2007. We’ve done a number of client projects in various industries, each one working with assorted Microsoft products and technologies. WHY K2? Because it rocks! No other workflow product has the ability to tie SharePoint, InfoPath, ASP, SQL and Web services together to form a comprehensive workflow solution with maximum flexibility and minimal custom code.
