Meet the K2 management team

Adriaan van Wyk, Chief Executive Officer
Adriaan is a co-founder of SourceCode Technology Holdings, Inc. He assumed his current position upon inception in 1997.

Adriaan has a degree in accounting and a post-graduate degree in information systems (computer science). He likes to bring together his two loves: technology and business.

 

Warren Bingham, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer
As COO, Warren is responsible for global consulting services, technical support, sales support, and operations.

As CFO, Warren oversees global accounting and finance, legal affairs, human resources, and management information systems.

Before joining K2, Warren worked at Insightful Corporation and, prior to that, Concur Technologies, both publicly traded software companies. He was responsible for all global accounting operations at the two companies, as well as public reporting and disclosure requirements. Warren also served as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then as corporate controller for several VC-backed software and internet companies.

Warren graduated from Washington State University with degrees in accounting and finance. Warren also served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear-reactor operator, onboard a U.S. Trident submarine.

 

Olaf Wagner, Senior Vice President of Product Management
Olaf is a co-founder of SourceCode Technology Holdings, Inc. He assumed his current position in 1997.

Olaf is responsible for the Product Planning and Roadmap for the entire K2 product family. Olaf has a bachelor of science (honors) degree in computer science.

 

Koos du Preez, Chief Technology Officer
Koos has the overall responsibility for the direction and architecture of the entire SourceCode product stack. He assumed his current position in 2006.

Koos studied electronic engineering and has spent the past 14 years in the IT industry. His passion for technology spans the entire spectrum — from designing and building hardware to developing firmware, device drivers and application software. Prior to joining SourceCode, he held the position of chief software architect at a California-based High Availability software vendor.

 

Dennis Parker, Vice President — UK/Europe, Middle East and Africa
Dennis is based in London and is responsible for K2 marketing and sales operations in UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Prior to joining SourceCode, he worked in the Microsoft Services space where he led the Microsoft Services division of the AST group in South Africa and was involved in some of the initial enterprise deployments of K2. Prior to AST, he spent 7 years working for Sybase in South Africa where he filled a variety of roles before taking on a general management position at Sybase SA in Johannesburg.

He has been involved in the IT industry for the past 18 years, and during the past six years, has mainly focused on delivering corporate solutions based on Microsoft architecture. 

 

Dave Marcus, Vice President — Global Alliances
Dave is responsible for the K2 partner program, technology alliances (particularly with Microsoft) , and for driving business development with current and new K2 partners.

Before joining K2, he worked at Microsoft for 14 years, eight of them with Microsoft Southern Africa in technical sales and sales management positions. He then moved to Microsoft corporate headquarters in the U.S., primarily focused on global field and partner sales enablement in a variety of roles.

Dave has an engineering degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. 

 

KOH Weng Him, Vice President — Asia Pacific
Weng Him has overall P&L responsibility for SourceCode Asia Pacific’s business. His key role is to create a profitable product business; develop a highly skilled and motivated sales and support team; and create associated partnerships, business infrastructures and processes required to support the business.

Weng Him focuses on helping clients optimize the deployment of their invaluable resources to optimize business efficiency, reduce process execution cycle times and increase availability of process-related information. Weng Him joined SourceCode with more than 15 years of IT sales, marketing and consulting experience with leading organizations like Price Waterhouse, Accenture and IBM Global Services.

Weng Him has an MBA (with distinction) from the University of Hull, U.K., and a bachelor of accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

 

Christo van Heerden, Labs director
Christo joined SourceCode in 2002 and is responsible for the product development side of the business. He leads a dynamic team that develops, tests, documents and deploys the K2 products in sometimes-challenging customer environments.

Christo has a bachelor of commerce degree (informatics) from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

 

Hubert Cheng, Director of Legal Affairs
Hubert is the company’s chief, in-house legal officer.

Before joining K2, Hubert worked as counsel in the legal departments of Microsoft and Oracle, two of the world’s largest software companies. He has also worked for RealNetworks and was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Silicon Valley’s premier technology law firm.

Hubert graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in biology, and received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
